Rupture Disk & Sensor Combination

The Oseco FLCOS is a combination rupture disk and sensor that is easy to install and fits between standard ANSI flanges. The uni-body construction makes the FLCOS the most rugged and dependable disk/sensor on the market today.

The FLCOS is suggested for applications in which the normal operating pressure does not exceed 50% of the rated burst pressure.

This combination disk/sensor has a standard 316 Stainless Steel center membrane that controls the burst pressure and is also the sensor circuit. (Consult the Oseco factory for other metals).

The stainless steel center membrane is lined on both sides with a Fluoropolymer liner to form a corrosion-resistant anti-stick barrier. Klingersil C-4401 ring gaskets are standard and attached to both sides to form the completed assembly.

  • Relief Valve Discharge Isolation SPECIFICATIONS
  • Continuity-type Sensor - Normally closed; alarm condition is an open circuit.
  • Supply Voltage Any supply voltage, i.e. 24 VDC, 110 VAC, 220 VAC. May be used provided current is limited to 150mA maximum.
  • Resistance - Maximum pre-burst = 3 ohms
  • Corrosion-resistant Fluoropolymer in Contact with All Process Media Isolates rupture disk from corrosion. Cost savings due to combined rupture disk/sensor. Current - 150mA maximum Cable - 6” with PVC connector provided. Relief Valve Discharge Isolation Simple Apparatus - May be installed in a hazardous location ONLY in an intrinsically safe circuit.
