Precision Digital Corporation was founded in 1974 by Dr. C.J. Peters to design and manufacture digital panel meters. Today, led by his son Jeffrey Peters, Precision Digital manufactures a wide range of digital panel and field meters for all types of process measurement and control applications. While our product line may have evolved from the nixie tube days of the 1970s to state-of-the-art microprocessor-based instruments of today, our commitment to our customers has not changed.

Flow Measurement

Precision Digital has developed a wide variety of flow rate indicators, totalizers, batch controllers and flow computers to help you satisfy just about any flow application. These instruments will accept analog or pulse inputs and provide power to drive the flow meter.

They can be powered from AC, DC, loop or battery and are available in panel, NEMA 4X, and explosion-proof enclosures. With all of these features and the various agency approvals available, you're sure to find just what you are looking for.

Level Control

Level is one of the most common applications for Precision Digital products and we offer a wide variety of products to satisfy just about any level display and control application you might have. Our products can power the level transmitter, be scaled in any engineering unit and linearized for non-linear shaped tanks, control pumps and valves with up to four relays, connect to a computer, and output a 4-20 mA signal. In addition these meters are available in a wide variety of enclosures ranging from panel mount to NEMA 4X to explosion-proof and carry approvals such as FM, CSA, and UL.

Precision Digital products are used in many applications for pump control because they are simple to use, provide local display of level, power the transmitter, and can be used for pump alternation. Most Precision Digital products can have up to four relays so two can be used to control the pumps and two can be use for high and low alarm. The pump alternation feature is particularly useful because it extends the life of the pump and reduces maintenance costs.

Pressure Gauges

Precision Digital offers digital pressure gauges that will take a direct pressure input as well as digital meters that will accept the voltage or current output from a pressure transducer or transmitter. The digital pressure gauges are available in Precision Test, Industrial and General Purpose versions. They can be battery, loop or DC powered and have relays and analog outputs.

The digital meters will provide the power to drive the transmitter or transducer and can be field calibrated for display in engineering units. They are available in panel, NEMA 4X and explosion-proof configurations

Temperature Measurement

Precision Digital Corporation offers a wide variety of meters, indicators, controllers, and transmitters to satisfy just about any temperature application. Our Trident line of digital panel meters can be set up in the field for thermocouple or RTD inputs. Our Nova line of PID temperature controllers are high accuracy, full-featured controllers available in ramp & soak, programmable, and limit controller configurations. One particularly useful feature of the Fluidwell F-Series temperature indicators is that they can be battery powered. All of these products can be equipped with a 4-20 mA output; resulting in a temperature transmitter.
