Reduced Pressure Backflow Preventer Meter (BPM) The BPM model adds to your fire hydrant meter's versatility, protecting your water system from accidental backflow. It's the recommended solution for applications, such as mixing cement, fertilizers or other chemicals, that could create cross-connection hazards at your fire hydrant. The BPM includes all the features of the FHM, plus a true reduced pressure zone (RPZ) backflow preventer. A stainless steel support arm stabilizes the assembly.
