SITRANS F M flow sensors 711/S Electromagnetic flowmeters (EMF) are suitable for measuring the flow of almost all electrically conducting liquids, as well as sludges, pastes and slurries. The magnetic field means they are suitable for flow velocities of 0.25 to 12 m/s (0.82 to 39.4 ft/s). The flow sensors of the SITRANS F M 711/S series can be used for a minimum conductivity of 20 µS/cm with a pulsed DC field. The main applications of the SITRANS F M flow sensors 711/S can be found in the following fields: Water, waste water Power generation and distribution. The flow sensors are connected to the SITRANS F M transmitters Intermag and are only available as remote versions.
